2nd day in Rome

We had a penthouse airbnb! Traveling with 4 of us splitting costs, it only came to about $30 per person each night. For Rome, that's fantastic and we were right down town, walking distance to the Trevi fountain etc. We were 6 floors up and the apartment was very old of course, but very nice!

we started our day with taking a walk and buying Canoli shells, a few croissants and some coffee. We stopped at a vegetable stand and walked by the Trevi fountain.

Later I was treated by the other ladies to a horse drawn sightseeing and a beautiful dinner of salami and cheese etc.

This was the very old fashioned tiny elevator. It worked great!

This shop was so facinating. With the ham, salad and provolone cheese hanging from the ceiling.

We had fun at this shop, getting to know our new friends.
