As I get home, it becomes so apparent so quickly some things in America we are so blessed!
I would say water would be number one. Having water, having water pressure, having to be able to brush your teeth with tap water, having to not only bleach your veggies, but be able to rinse them in since water (not filtered)
The last few days I was there we ran out of water. I think in this mission base, it's not as common as it used to be, but as I flew from Eldoret to Nairobi, I noticed I never saw one body of water. No creeks, no rivers, no lakes, no swimming pools.
You do see lots of tanks everywhere, where they save rain water.
Varity of food is amazing here, but no wonder it's so easy to gain weight!😊
I compared avocado, mango, red onion, tomatoes and pepper prices here. Pretty much about .10 each there. A whole pineapple is $1 so it's an expensive fruit there.
Some signs I saw on the highway that was interesting, mostly just worded differently :
"Keep left unless overtaking"
"Passenger please alight from your vehicle"
"This is a corruption free zone"
"Loft letting", "For let" (instead of For rent)
"Do not damage Hwy furniture"
