I am now in Africa! I can't believe I'm actually here! I was in a mall on Sunday afternoon, looking for some toys or such to bring the the kids in Africa. Plus we needed batteries for all the electric cuffs and all. So I had this beautiful lunch with a pizza on an artisan crust and a beautiful salad.
I finished shopping and started to look for the bus stop. For some reason it was hard to find and the bus wasn't coming. Probably because it's Sunday. The pain was increasing I finally got one bus, but then had to walk about a mile or so to finish getting home. I kept hoping it would get better but instead it got worse. I finally went downstairs to try to find a nun. But moving anywhere was quite the ordeal. Eventually I found one and they called an ambulance. I'm thinking I just needed a ride, but in the end the Ambulence didn't cost me a thing and it was so nice to have kind people taking care of me. The Italian Dr's were so kind and they got me on pain killer right away and off to sleep I went. I was in till Monday evening and never did they have me sign papers, or talk about money. They called me a taxi to take me home with the perscriptions. Said I had stones in my "liver". I kept saying "gallbladder". She didn't know what I was saying. I didn't care at that point, I just needed pain medicine and fluids. So now it's Friday night and I'm in Africa and finally truly starting to feel well again. I still haven't really eaten, so no food pictures to post at all!
