We put a baby shower on one of the missionaries that are there long term. We needed to use it for food and we thought it was a nice way to see everybody before we left Kapsowar.
It seemed to be greatly appreciated. These missionaries are constantly having social events, but this was fun for them not to have to do any work.
I was amazed at how many creative gifts she was able to get, even though it's so difficult in Kapsowar to get much of anything
The picture of the cake looks small but the only pan we could find was about 18 inches round and so it was a giant cake!
