Barcelona cathedral

We got to go to church here Sunday!

The one place I had heard about was the Barcelona Cathedral. As we were mozing down the beautiful streets they opened up into a square. Here we heard an band playing and seeing people in a circle dancing a specific dance. I didn't know if it was an organized group, or if it was people off the street. But it seemed like they knew the dance. The music was beautiful.

So right there without even looking for it was a beautiful cathedral. We were there just on time for church. Although we couldn’t understand much, it was still a good time spending time with God. We we’re given a program of sorts and could use google translate to read it. Enjoyed hearing the amazing pipe organ play. We even recognized one song and tried to sing along.

A man with a beautiful voice led the singing.

After the cathedral we accidentally ran right into the museum.

It was amazing being able to see rooms from 1000 of years ago where they found was a place where they made material and they had wash houses and wine makers later a church was built above this area.

There were a lot of pottery with Christain symbols.

We had such a nice day and half the train to go back to her hotel in plenty of time to rest up for a last leg of our journey flying to Chicago. The big jug is probably how the vats looked that Jesus turned the water into wine with.

We enjoyed that sandwich earlier in the day we tried to find another but we couldn't find it. So settled on a few other items. June got some charros with a cup of melted chocolate

These little sandwich things were really popular. The empanadas were stamped on the outside of each. Polo (chicken) Picante (hot)

We had such a nice day and then took the train to go back to her hotel in plenty of time to rest up for a last leg of our journey, since tomorrow we fly to Chicago!
