Birthday week

On Wednesday morning I turned 61 and was so excited that I actually lived this long!

In my family we never figured we would live too long because my father, my grandfather, my great grandfather all died in their 40s! even though the women lived longer, still our family history isn't real good with long life. So to make it to 61 years old and I'm super healthy Was a pretty exciting gift that God has given me. He's blessed me with so much! I actually went to the doctor and did all the tests that I'm supposed to do and everything came back great. What a huge blessing because I know that there's many that don't have this.

So after a relaxing day on my birthday, spending time at a coffee shop and enjoying a nice quiet day, a baby decided it was wanting to come be my birthday buddy. So I had a a little birthday buddy born late that evening.

The next day traveling down to Trout Creek for a nice postpartum visit, the views are beautiful! The family sent me home with a gallon of goats milk and a bunch of garden veggies! I felt like an old fashioned Doctor doing home visits way out in the country!

The family birthday party is Saturday and then the rush for the next two weeks getting ready for my trip to Dominican republic. I'm getting a little bit nervous and wondered when I'm going to get frazzled and decide what the priorities are on my giant list of things I need to do.
