Christmas! Lots of traditions and lots of fun!

It was suggested that we all wear our Jamie this Christmas, but some of us didn't want to. The ones that did looked comfy and happy!

We do secret Santa presents so that we only have one person to buy presents for, but it's a big present and takes a lot of thought. As each person finishes giving their gift we get a picture.

This is only a fraction of the exchange and even though we start at noon we usually don't get done till 4 pm or so!! Although we like to explain our gifts and thoughts, we don't rush either! Very loud, a bit chaotic, but so fun!

All during the time while opening gifts we have a whole table of antipasto set up. So we snack all day!

After presents we usually start dinner, clean up, go for walks, visit, cuddle babies, keep taking pictures. We didn't eat dinner till 7. Our homemade ravioli, homemade bread with roasted garlic, a nice big salad, fresh parmesan! Couldn't be better!

So the end of a strange year! But on to the next exciting year. I wake up every morning, thanking God for life, provision in abundance, family, a beautiful house and the chance to go back to Africa!
