Home again

I got back to Kalispell after a wonderful flight home.

I still had the morning at the mission conference and the Lord really ministered to me and gave me direction.

My wonderful host picked me up from the conference and dropped me off at the airport, where I saw several people from the conference too. One of the main speakers, a Doctor who spent 25 ears in China saw me and remembered me by name! He encouraged me to continue going on with mission work, saying what a tremendous need there is for midwifery education.

Then of all things, again the Lord had planned. I got the last row in the plane and guess who sits next to me, but a lady that is a recruiter for Samaritan Purse. She lives right above me in Alberta. We had such a nice visit.

Just in case you want to help recruit, they are in great need for eye doctors, dentists, all sorts of specialties. These kinds of special doctors don't have to be gone long. Just 2-3 weeks! So put a bug in your eye doctors ear!

I was so blessed how God had that all planned out for me. Since one of the things God gave me direction on was to continue to work with Samaritan purse. I had talked to so many ministry's, it was getting confusing to keep everyone straight. There are needs and opportunities everywhere. Feeling a bit overwhelmed, this thought came to me that, why are you looking for another ministry when you already are signed up with Samaritan purse. So I determined to go back to their booth and ask if they have needs for teaching midwifery in other places.

I ended up sitting down and visiting with a lady that has been with Samartian purse for 30+ years. She encouraged me in the value of not only staying with the same ministry, but even keep going back to the same places. This way you know the needs, the staff knows you, people make connection and build trust. As they get to know you more, we will have more we can speak into their lives spiritually. She assured me what I'm doing in Kapsowar is needed, useful and wanted.

The confusion vanished and I felt like God had given me direction for now. I'm planning to go back to Kapsowar in February if everything works out!

Nothing like a mission conference to fire a person up for missions!!!

It is nice to be home again, seeing kids and grandkids, getting groceries at Costco, catching up with all my clients, planning Thanksgiving at my house.

God has blessed me and I'm so grateful and looking forward to what He has next!

I'm glad you could follow along on the adventure. But it doesn't end, life is full of adventures!
