It's been a whole year since I took an overseas adventure! I'm longing to go again, but with covid, things also changed in midwifery here in America. More people having babies out of hospital, more people moving to smaller towns, working from home. With a very busy practice this year here, I have not been able to get away for a long trip. Although this hasn't stopped me squeezing in an adventure here and there!
I've had plenty of opportunities: Albania, Kenya are ones I've had to put on hold. Iraq and Nepal could defiantly be in my future!
I've continued my teaching and learning the classes that are used for the mission field. Teaching many students and midwives who are also looking forward to going out on the mission field at some point.
I was asked to come to Idaho about 6 hours from my house to teach a couple of classes and I finally have been able to sneak in a week or so to take a little adventure! 3 days of teaching and a few extra days on each end to rest, rejuvenate, refresh and enjoy what ever God brings my way.
