Invited to dinner

The 2 charge nurses we had for dinner last week asked us for dinner this week! They prepared us a Kenyan feast!!!

They had goat ribs, mashed potatoes, chapati, rice with veggies, ground beef all spiced up, beans, cabbage cooked with other veggie, a salad made with finally chopped tomato , cilantro, onions with lime juice on top.

This very nice house has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and kitchen/living. Very comfortable! Gladice and her husband have 2 grown daughters, that are home because of Covid. The kitchen was small compared to American standards, but nice! I didn't see any upper cabinets.

I'm wondering if they cooked all day to make us this feast!

It was amazing!
