After a bumpy plane ride coming into Eldoret we were met by two of the missionaries that I knew from the last trip and it was so fun to see them again. It was also nice they were there since the tubs and luggage had to be loaded on the roof of the ambulance and I don't think June or I would've been much help.
We were then taken to a shopping plaza where we could get groceries. Once we are up the mountain in the Kapsowar, we will not be able to get a lot of the groceries that we would need so we needed to pick up groceries to last us the whole month we're here.
It was fun to go on a shopping spree with the other ladies even if it was just food!
It was a girl selling flowers, I got a big beautiful bouquet for about six dollars. I thought that would make it nice to cheer up our little house.
After about a 2 Hour drive getting up to Kapsowar, we had help to unload the ambulance. Our neighbors, who have 6 lovely children, invited us over for a very yummy dinner. It was some kind of chicken, mushrooms, mangoes and vegetables and we ate it over pasta.
Jet lag is always difficult for our bodies to adjust, so off to bed we went!
