Leaving London and On to Spain!

What a day! I got up to my Airbnb host cooking me breakfast (which she wasn't supposed to, but we were more like friends now) Her husband was helping me figure out trains and buses, and her daughter was helping me print my ticket. Her daughter is 22 and I asked her about how their school system works.

She said at 16 you basically start college, You can pick a gap year where they place you in the job you might want to study. For her it was accounting, so she worked in an accounting office. Then the next year she went to college for 2 yrs, those were free. When you are 18 you go to university (which is like our college) . And even though she lived at home, it cost her $27,000 in student loans! (that include her gap year that cost still) So although I like how they start kids younger in a vocation, seems like it costs an awful lot!

So my host walked me to the bus station and we had such a lovely visit. I got on the double decker red bus, but since I had my suitcase I didn't try to go upstairs. :(

The bus route ended and I had a stroll though a mall that looked a little similar to a market in 3rd world countries. There I ate a croissant and later a beef pastie since those was on my to do list. I also drank a fresh glass of celery juice. She had a big juicer and juiced it up fresh.

Some how I missed judged time and only because of the very nice, polite people in London did I make it to my flight on time.

I love how polite and kind people are there. People go out of their way to be helpful. and then call you "lov"!

My next airbnb host in Murcia Spain picked me up at the airport and then made me a fantastic dinner. Sounds like she's wanting to hang out this week. So on to the next adventure!
