Madrid Spain!

I am here in Spain! With the trip to Dominican Republic being so short, I knew I’d like to take a vacation on the end, so I found a plane flight to Madrid for only $280! Got a few family members to meet me in Madrid and off we are on a new adventure for a couple more weeks!

We are only here 2 nights and then we head to Sicily! So that only left us one tourist day. We have a lovely airbnb for home base and we started our trip with a visit to the grocery store for dinner.

We only had one day to be tourists, so we managed to get a lot in that one day! We started by going to the "oldest restaurant in the world" they say. It was from 1750. We just ate dessert here and we were full almost the whole day!

After this we went to the square and visited lots of beautiful shops. I bought a little purse for the rest of the trip.

Then went in to see the cathedral and the palace.

We went to a park which had ancient structures like the remains of an old zoo cages, an Ancient stucture with a lake. You could picture the women coming to bathe or wash clothes.

Glass houses are pretty, but who washes all those windows!!
