My house never stays empty very long!

A few weeks ago Monica and Tyler came up, Gina, Quintin and our friend on Friday and James and Tate this weekend. I have a big empty house, but it never stays empty for long. I love having everyone come up, cooking and hanging out on the back porch!

When Monica and Tyler came up we re-created all sorts of traditions we made last year when they were living with me. It was fun! Tyler went to get us pastries in the morning, making pizza together in the evening, watching new Amsterdam, holding the kitty and Tyler bought me a beautiful flower!

When Gina came up she asked me to make some of my healthy desserts. I got in the mood and made some chocolate muffins with beets and spinach in them. Frosting made with with cream and chocolate protein powder. I had my yummy sour dough bread.

It was a fun and relaxing visit; eating, sitting on the porch in the sunshine! Eating yummy food, and playing with the ultrasound machine.

Below is James with Pumpkin! We had a nice morning watching church on line and then it was so nice sitting out in the sunshine and visiting.

But before they left on Sunday it was storming! They even went through a snow storm on their way home!

James made us an amazing dinner! It was better then any restaurant. We cooked steak (from my traded cow), a small piece of salmon, broccoli and the best pasta ever! It was so simple, but extremely flavorful. Just eggs, ricotta, parmesan and pasta water. Salt and pepper.
