Our day in downtown Florence

Our next day we went to the town of Florence. Downtown where the sightseeing is. We drove down the hill and caught a train into the downtown and started walking. That day we walked 7 miles, up and down the streets, into shops across beautiful bridges etc.

The bridge was one of those sights you see on a postcard.

We stopped in at an eatery and a waitress wanted to seat me. We said maybe later but we just ate. But I noticed she was eating some amazing looking peppers and zucchini. She insisted I taste it. Later we came back and ate lunch there and began to visit with her. God used Teresa and Michelle to minister to this waitress. I love how God puts reason into everything in our life. Sometimes we don’t know or understand, but He has a purpose and can use us where ever we are.

I love the wooden spoons made with olive wood. I bought a couple of ravioli cutters. Just small one ravioli at a time type.

I bought a new pair of Birkenstock's here in Florence. My old ones were loosing the support they usually have and the prices were same as in US! I love them.

The Corona virus is big news, but it's really more of a News drama. Not a big deal here at this point.

The yummy sandwich was ricotta and spinach in the pastry! So good!
