Over 24 hours so far and another 8 to go!

I had to get up at four in the morning on Saturday to catch my first flight, I’ve been going for more than 24 hours and I still have one more flight from Frankfurt to Narobi. I haven’t gotten very much sleep so I’m looking forward to trying to sleep on this flight. We had to go through customs again here in Germany and they completely took apart everything in my suitcase. They took all the pulse ox out of their boxes etc. Looking in each nook and cranny!

I have Ultrasound batteries and glasses for a surgeon i was asked to carry, so these are in my carry on, along with so good dark chocolate bars. I’m sure these things kick my suitcase out for special searches!

I’m always fascinated with the difference in airport food in different countries bread, lunch meat, salami fruit, salad seems to be common choices

Below are spices at a coffee shop in an airport. I asked them if they use them and he said they are only for decoration. Very interesting decoration, but I hardly had time to look rushing from one plane to the next all day. I actually had about 2 hours between each flight, which was perfect! I had brought good snacks, so I was fine not having time to buy food!
