Postpartum Tea!

I have been planning to have a postpartum tea for so long, but things like that have a way of getting pushed out, when you get busy with other things. I want to make sure my clients that have delivered with me know they still have support and so I'm glad I finally got it together.

We went over serveral subjects that moms of newborns need. Like strengthening the pelvic floor, getting sleep, fertility awareness and emotions. I had a nice gift bag for them with a few pampering items. It was such a fun class and I hope the moms felt cherished a little.

When I take care of these moms throughout their pregnancy, we get pretty close. I see them every month, then in the last couple months it's bi weekly and then weekly. So we see each other a lot! I get to know their families and sometime we do home visits. I love the time I get to spend with pregnant moms and the special time of birth. We also care for them after they have their babies, but not as often and then by 6 weeks we usually don't have regular visits and I start missing them! What a joy it is to see "my babies" in town or as they grow up and later to get to see them baptized or in plays or such.

Those bottom pictures above are: fresh mozzarella with tomatoes and balsamic. The next is ham roll up, with cheese and veggies inside. The other picture is having everyone check their muscle tone! 🤪🥺.

The gift bags had some bath salts, Pistachios ( because I read somewhere they are supposed to help you sleep) Some butter balm or comfort salve from https://harmony.delightfulwebsites.com/shop/. She's a friend of ours and she makes top quality products. So I wanted my moms to give them a try!

Hoping to do this at least once a year, along with other classes for pregnant moms, some for assistants, plus my travel plans! Life is always busy!!!
