Prenatal visits, Postpartum visit, Rehearsal dinner, baby, wedding, baby… in that order!

I had the most incredible weekend. It started the week before with lots of prenatals because I seem to be in the midst of a baby boom. So I had prenatals on Tuesday and Wednesday and then did home visits out of town on Thursday. I had two overdue moms on Friday ready to have their babies, but I was still hoping to be able to go to the rehearsal dinner and wedding for my Grandson Hans. So Friday morning I headed to Kalispell where I did a postpartum visit with one of my sweet clients.

To see the mom and baby doing we’ll always gives me so much joy.

Did a bit of shopping at Costco and helped Martha get the rehearsal dinner ready. She made a fantastic dinner of lasagna, and

salad. Mishael making homemade bread.

At the rehearsal we found they wanted to include the grandma‘s walking up the aisle after the mothers to be seated. Such a special honor. I went to bed that night at Moriah’s praying I would somehow be able to go to the wedding. But babies have their own time schedule. And just when I had given up on being able to go to the wedding a little girl made her beautiful appearance and after a little bit of time I realized if I left right then I could get to the wedding on time! The parents and my assistant was happy to lend a hand, so off I went, speeding just a little.

On the way down the kids started calling me and asking me where I am and when I might get there. It looks like I was going to be about 30 minutes late. I said “don’t wait the wedding for me, you can’t make all those people wait”. But then I get another call and they say “how far are you now?“ “or what road are you in”?. I kept saying they shouldn’t wait but they said “ Hans says he wants to wait for you” they said “as soon as you pull in don’t park the car just pull straight up to the curb”. So they waited the whole wedding for me! I got out of the car and ran into the line and we walked right down the aisle! It made me cry to think my grandson cared about me being there for his special day.

I got to watch him take his vows with his beautiful new wife. I enjoyed the dinner and celebration. So very extra special!

Then the next baby decided it was time. So back to Libby I went! And another beautiful baby girl!

What an extremely amazing weekend!
