Sat morning

I decided to be like the Italians and go shop in the morning. I went out and the stands are back in the park with all the olives, nuts and beans. I bought one of those weird fruits that I think might be either a type of cucumber or melon????

Then I went to the grocery store to see if they have Stevia so I could sweeten my fresh ricotta to put in my cannoli shells. And I was so pleased in a tiny store like this, that they did have Stevia. The store was so crowded though. Unlike if you shop later towards the afternoon. It's kind of funny, because it's their culture to go shopping early, but thats what everyone does. I think probably everyday. They don't stock up like Americans. At least thats what I gather from traveling in Europe in general.

So I came back home to drop off my groceries and now I'm off to visit the Laudadio's butcher shop and to get a SIM card!
