Should I go to ITALY!!!!

Ever since James, my youngest of 11 children went off to college over a year ago my life has changed. I had been raising children for 38 years! Although being a mother, no matter how old your kids are, there will always be lots of mothering to do. But things are way different when you don't have the responsibility of everyday life with kids at home!

I always thought, when the kids are grown I want to take mission trips. I would love to do midwifery mission trips. I've done a couple of these before and really enjoyed them.

After my youngest graduated I started researching, and I'm working on some of those, but here it is almost 2 years later and I haven't gone anywhere! I got an email with a flight to Italy for only $500 and I had that much saved in a vacation fund! So I did it! I bought the ticket. I have only a specific time I can go between births so I knew the dates. I asked a few people if anyone could go with me, and they couldn't on such short notice. Martha signed me up for a group called "solo women travelers" and after reading a bit I started getting excited about going alone! Just a journey with me and God! So my ticket is bought and my plans are in gear! I'm so excited!!!!!!!!
