So much to catch up on!

I left Wednesday morning feeling on top of the world! Loving those people so much, and feeling like being there truly did make a difference. I got a ride to Eldoret for my first flight to Nairobi. They have speed bumps all over their roads, so it's constant slowing down for the speed bumps, the sheep and cows etc. Even on the way to Eldoret it's very pretty and green.

I got to Narobi about 2 pm and my flight to Rome didn't leave till almost midnight. So Samaritan Purse sent. driver to take me to see some animals!

I enjoyed it so much! I saw herds of Zebras and Gazelles in the national park. then he took me to an Orphan home for animals. There I saw a baby hippo, rhinoceros, lions, monkeys, zebras, crocodiles. They had been found as orphans or sick and if they couldn't put them back in the wild , then they get to live in luxury till they die. The crocodile is 45 years old and can live to 100.

The flight to Rome was all night and I arrived at about 6 am, then took another flight to Bari.

I had mixed feelings about coming to Italy. After being in Africa I wondered if I should've just gone straight home, but the dates were set in "stone" pretty much with plane flights all set. So I prayed the Lord will bring purpose to this next part of the adventure too.

I arrived in Mola Di Bari about noon and as soon as I saw this town, I felt such peace and excitement. It's a beautiful town on the ocean. My Grandfather, (my dads Father) was born and raised here. It is possible I have cousins here, so I plan on looking into that too.

My Airbnb has 10-12' ceilings, it's on the 3rd floor. LONG stair cases! The picture is only one of the 2 stair cases. It's a beautiful apartment and I can see this is going to be a very relaxing week! I already bought some fresh ricotta, fresh tomatoes that are so flavorful!
