Weekend class and relaxing

Had a very nice weekend with a class all day Saturday and then Sunday had Nursing Director over for dinner. We have a stew that was left over from the other day and we made biscuits. since butter is a staple that we cannot get here, we decided to try to use some thing else. sour cream is not like sour cream in America, but super thick and sour 😬, I decided to use that in place of the butter and they turned out great!

This is a pot of ugali. It is made of corn. It is a main staple to their diet in this area. It’s often served with beans or cabbage. The huge quantity is because of serving it for the nursing school students. Notice he is transporting it in a wheel barrel
